All frameless glass shower doors tend to leak at least a little, especially if the shower is small or the threshold/curb is flat or sloped the wrong way. If the tile setter has sloped the threshold/curb out towards the bathroom, often times we have asked them to pull it up and reset the tiles to slope into the shower. It reflects on us when a shower leaks even when it's not our fault. If the curb is flat from a pre-fab pan we will add a clear polycarbonate sweep to the bottom of the glass.

Frameless shower enclosures are not designed to be water-tight, they are designed to be elegant. We never recommend installation of frameless enclosures where a small amount of water escaping would be devastating in some way. If the shower stall has been designed correctly, the enclosure will contain the water just fine. It doesn't make sense, however, to install a beautiful glass enclosure only to add a lot of silicone and plastic seals in an attempt to "waterproof" it.

Typically, the size. A 36 X 36 shower enclosure is not designed to be enclosed with a frameless glass enclosure, the water spray is too strong in such a small area to be completely controlled with the system due to the fact that there are natural gaps between the glass panels that must exist in order for the enclosure to function properly. The door swings 180 degrees, it must have clearance on either side to do so. It can be done, but will require acrylic accessories, and is not guaranteed. Also if your curb is not pitched downward in the direction of the drain, the shower door will leak and there is nothing that will prevent it short of having the curb corrected.
